At first glance, this vintage fur coat looked stunning on video.

Beautiful shape, rich fur, and the kind of piece that can easily catch someone's attention online. But as always with vintage fur — photos and videos only tell part of the story.

Not every damaged coat is a lost cause

Even though this coat was too damaged to wear as it was, not everything had to be thrown away.

Some pelts were still in great condition and could be saved. Instead of discarding the entire coat, I selected the best sections and will transform them into beautiful scarves.

This is one of my favorite parts of working with vintage fur — giving old pieces a second life through remodeling ♻️✨
